Meet Dr. Zelt - Plastic Surgeon
Dr. Ronald G. Zelt earned his medical degree in 1984 from McGill University in Montreal. His subsequent training included four years of General Surgery residency, a Master of Science degree followed by his formal training in Plastic Surgery also at McGill University. In 1991, he completed a year of fellowship training in Melbourne, Australia in reconstructive microsurgery and 1992 a second year at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles where he earned a second masters degree in Medical Education. He began his practice in Plastic Surgery in 1992.
Although a native of Ontario, Dr. Zelt has lived in Montreal for over 31 years. He is a member of the Canadian Society of Plastic Surgery and is certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. His current positions include Division Chief of Plastic Surgery at l’Hôpital du Sacré-Coeur de Montréal, staff Plastic Surgeon at St. Mary’s Hospital and an Assistant Professor of Surgery at McGill University.
